What’s your festival look?

Of corse it’s festival season everyone’s Tryna get kitted out for the time of their lives… There’s only 3 styles that I have seen girls try and they are typical festival looks so I will be interested to see is anyone has a new style this year… So what do you prefer to wear?
•Style number 1~ is most typical for girls is the high waisted shorts and either vest/tank top or a loose fitted boho style bat winged top generally!
(I don’t mind this look as long as its done tastefully a lot of girls seem to think it looks good to have you butt cheeks hanging out… Shake my head you ratchet)

•style number 2 ~ ok this is usually the look that older/wiser girls tend to go for it’s the maxi skirt and vest top or maxi dress no doubt boho style! (I prefer this look because it looks more interesting and seems more elegant even though its hard to be elegant at a festival but I feel like it’s looks the best)

•style number 3~ I think this year there’s going to be a lot of girls wearing oversized T’s and vests especially those American style jerseys and that’s it just the Tshirt… (I can guarantee this will be one of the looks… )

All of these looks are usually worn with wellies but considering there’s a heat wave in London I think people are either going to be wearing converses or sandals… And hair style are generally the same either out and messy or up in a top knot…

I will try take some pics of the different looks and styles I see!
I’m not quite sure what I’m going to be wearing yet…
I’m exited!

What’s your favourite look? Comment below and let me know what your going to be wearing!

Alpha Deco fibre lash

At first I was quite sceptical about the whole natural fibre thing I can admit that I thought it can’t do much better then a couple layers of mascara… Most of the natural fibre mascara I had seen where quite expensive ranging from £15-£30 and I wasn’t feeling to spend that much on a mascara it’s not needed in my life. But I found a set on eBay that was relatively cheap I got it for around £6.50 with free postage which is quite good considering that’s how much a good mascara costs… So when It came there was no instructions quite worrying but it’s kinda common sense but for people that struggle in that area I’m going to tell you how to use it!

Step one make sure your eyelashes have no mascara on I don’t actually know why it just seems like this is something you should do and I think you should start with a clean canvas lol

Step two apply the transplanting gel like you would mascara not forgetting your bottom lashes.

Step two apply the natural fibres to the tips of your lashes for a lengthening or all the way through for a more fuller dramatic look… Be careful the fibres can go into your eye and if you wear contact lenses this is not fun you’ll be testing how waterproof it is with your tears trust me I experienced this and it was not fun!

Step three apply another coat of the transplanting gel to seal the fibres in and also to stop them from getting in your eyes…

Repeat these steps as much as your want for your desired effect. I do two coats but one is enough for everyday more coats give you that dramatic effect that fake lashes gives your without the hassle!

Hairs to protection

This might sound a bit dur but I don’t think people actually use heat protection on their hair unless they are using hair straightener or hair dryer… You should use some sort of heat protection on you hair even when your not using heat… Just like you should wear sun block everyday… Like I said it might sound obvious but if there a sun in the sky you should protect yourself from any harmful rays.

Just a quicky

Have you left your house and bin outside for a second or even for a while and felt all moisture being slapped out of your hair every time the wind blows??? It would get so bad sometimes I would resort to putting hand cream on the ends of my hair 😳…so I wanted to keep something small in my bad to put in my hair when it felt a lol dry I found this thing called Vitapointe in boots its always on offer an looks like a lil hand cream and smells like it to but it’s for your hair… It’s a leave in conditioner that feels oily when you rub it in your hands… At first I didn’t think it worked because I’d have to use loads for my hair to feel soft but then I’d use too much and would make my hair greasy… As long as you find the right amount that works for you it’s actually quite handy to keep in your bag for touch ups…

London hair

You know them times when you got your hair to behave finally and it’s looking nice and pretty… Then as soon as you leave your house your hair feels like it has to turn ugly… We all hate London weather we know how you feel but really control yourself please! (Yes I’m talking to my hair lol)

No heat challenge

Today is day one of my no heat hair challenge… I am planning to ditch the hair straightener and hairdryer in the pursuit of thicker healthier hair, I am going to try to keep this going until september and maybe longer.

when I was in school I think I must have straightened my hair at least 4 times a week so there was plenty of heat damage done there, then on top of that all the dying definitely didn’t help.

So at the age of 22 I think its about time I start looking after my hair before I turn 30 and have 5 hairs on my head… NOT A GOOD LOOK.

Aloe Aloe

Holland & Barratt
Aloe Vera Gel
Bio active skin treatment
This has to be my all time favourite product… definitely a must have in my beauty bag.
For years, I knew that the gel from the aloe vera plant was a good healing agent when applied to burns, scrapes and wounds. But I have come to learn just how much more I could use aloe vera gel for.
I would like to thank a really good friend of mine for recommending this to me.
USING ALOE VERA GEL FOR SKIN
Apply the gel from an aloe vera leaf directly onto skin abrasions, cuts, sunburns, scalds, blisters, cold sores, rashes, and insect bites to help fight bacteria and avoid infection. The gel also has the ability to soothe pain and regenerate skin cells to promote healing with no or little scaring. Apply aloe gel 2-3 times a day to the area/wound until it is healed.
When I get my eyebrows threaded within the next couple of days I get a rash on my forehead not attractive at all, I put some aloe vera gel on my eyebrows after I get the done and it helps reduce the rash a lot.

Use aloe vera gel for general skin care. Use the gel alone or along with your favorite skin cream to help better soften and moisturize the skin. Because aloe regenerates skin cells it is also known to reduce wrinkles, eczema, acne, sun/age spots, and other blemishes.

I recently found out that it can be used to reduce stretch marks.

I have only one negative thing to say about this product if you apply to much it becomes flakey so I’d say if you are going to use this on your face then only apply a really small amount.

I also found out it could be used for hair care as well as skin care

USING ALOE VERA FOR HAIR

Applying aloe vera gel to the scalp is a good treatment for dandruff, seborrhea (dermatitis), psoriasis and hair loss that has resulted from these conditions.

Use the gel from an aloe vera plant to substitute your commercial hair gel rub or comb small amounts through your hair and style as usual.

If you don’t know about aloe vera now you know I bought mine on offer I think it was in the penny sale so you buy one you get the second one for a penny so I payed £7 for two 200ml tubes, really good price considering the amount things you can use it for.

she’s just a cosmic girl or not

 photo hair
The last time I dyed my hair was around december, I used Preference wild ombre which because my hair is quite dark didn’t work very well :(…
I wanted to try a colour I hadn’t tried before so I was really exited to try this Superdrug Colour Vibrance in Cosmic Purple this would have been £4.09 but its on offer for 2 for £5.
So my hair is naturally dark dark brown so by looking at the colour indication chart my hair was supposed to go deep cosmic purple.
Firstly you need to squeeze the creme colour into the creme developer make sure you mix it well, make sure you remove the nozzle tip.
by looking at how much dye was in the bottle I could tell it wouldn’t be enough so if you have hair past your shoulders I’d say buy two boxes if you want a full complete coverage, but if you just want to use this as a touch up one box will be enough.
put protective gloves on which are provided in the box, make sure you are wearing a old t-shirt or  place a plastic bag or towel around your shoulders to protect your clothing.
Get rid of all the knots in your hair using a wide toothed comb.
The first thing I usually notice is the smell, I thought that it would have a strong chemical smell but surprisingly it wasn’t that bad.
Apply the mixture to your roots then add the rest of the dye trough your hair. If you have any dye left over then squeeze the remainder all over your hair and give yourself a little head massage.
Leave the dye to develop for 30mins… I tend to dance about or watch youtube videos to pass time.
Once you have danced your 30mins away add a lil water and work the colour through your hair then jump in the shower and rinse your hair with warm water until the water runs clear this will take a while so be patient.
shampoo your hair ensuring all dye has been removed, apply the intensive colour conditioner and leave for about 2mins then rinse. The conditioner definitely puts the moisture back into your hair and leaves it feeling nice a smooth.
This was a really simple process all you need is common sense I guess.
I was quite disappointed with the outcome of this hair dye my hair went more of a reddish brown not at all purple this was probably because I didn’t have enough product. I’m not going to say I wont try this product again I am willing to give it another go just because the colour on the box is sooooo beautiful.

that knot hair!!

I need some help… can anyone suggest any product that will stop my hair from being so knotty… I know it sounds dumb but my hair is forever knotty :0 I would comb it and 5mins later it will be tangled again and i have a bad habit of combing it with my fingers so every time I do this my hair breaks and when you are trying to grow long thick health hair this is a problem… 😦
